Silver medal for Livno cheese in Norway

Another great success for Mljekara Livno and Livno cheese!
For the third year in a row, our Livno cheese has won a silver medal at the World Cheese Awards, held this week in Trondheim, Norway.
The World Cheese Awards, also known as the Oscars of cheese, has been the world's largest and most respected cheese judging competition for more than 30 years. Cheeses are sent from all over the world to be judged in a single day by carefully assembled teams of technical experts, buyers, retailers and food writers. Judges work in teams of three to identify every cheese worthy of a gold, silver or bronze award. They looked at the rind and body of the cheese, its colour, texture, consistency and, above all, its taste. During the competition more than 250 judges assess almost 4,500 cheeses from more than 40 countries to find the best products in each category.

We are delighted that our hard work has been recognised at such a prestigious event.
